Arthan Bandeira

Jiu-Jitsu has been part of my life since day one. My father was already a black belt when I was born, so this has never felt like just a job to me. Everything in my life has always been connected to Jiu-Jitsu, and I grew up watching it transform people’s lives.

My father taught me that you have to be a fighter, ready for whatever challenges life throws your way. More importantly, I watched him find a way to teach every single person who stepped onto the mats, helping each of them grow in their own way. That showed me that there’s always a way to learn, improve, and overcome.

Those experiences shaped who I am and the values we strive to build every day here at Gregor Gracie Teaneck. We believe Jiu-Jitsu is about much more than techniques or competition. It’s about building stronger, more confident people and creating a community where everyone can grow at their own pace.
